Sheridan Terrace Spirit Stone

Do you want to do something special for your child; Recognize a birthday, accomplishment, big sports win or special milestone? Or maybe show appreciation to your favorite teacher or staff member? Or maybe just spread a positive message within our community.

Promote school spirit and spread a positive message for all to see by painting our Spirit Stone. Your donation supports the Sheridan Terrace PTA with 100% of the proceeds going directly back into our school.

How to Reserve

  1. Confirm your desired day is available by reviewing our Spirit Stone Calendar.

  2. Complete the Spirit Stone Reservation Request Form identifying your desired date.

  3. After we receive your request, we will send an email letting you know the dates are available and confirming you have been added to the calendar as "pending payment" (meaning you have requested the reservation, but have not yet secured it through payment.)  Please be patient with us in this communication.  The Spirit Stone calendar is updated as requests are confirmed and paid, but there may be requests which are not yet reflected on the calendar when you are looking.  We accept requests in the order they are received via our form.

  4. Once your date is confirmed you will have 24-hours to submit your $10 payment through MemberHub. Only online payments are accepted for reservations. We cannot accept cash or check sent with students to school.

Reservations are typically for 1 day but additional days can be reserved if you wish your message to be displayed longer. Additional days are subject to the daily fee ($10).  If a particular message stays on the rock (because no one has rented the day(s)), there will not be an additional donation necessary.

Reservations are first come, first serve. No refunds. If it rains, the rock can be toweled off, then painted. If you cannot paint on your reserved day, consider donating the day to a friend.

Timeframe for Painting

You must start and complete your painting after 4 p.m. the day before your reserved date(s).

For example, if you reserve a rock for a Tuesday, you may start painting at 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon.  Painting for stone reservations for Monday can begin after 4 p.m. on Friday, or over the weekend.
