Getting Your Clearances and Badge
In order to volunteer, you must be a current member of the PTA, have updated your clearances and a badge. Clearances must be updated every 5 years.

Please bring your volunteer badge and valid drivers license/ID every time you come to volunteer. This is a district rule and there are no exceptions!
1 / Obtain Clearances
Obtain Act 34 Clearance (PA Criminal Background Check), Act 151 Clearance (PA Child Abuse History) and the Volunteer FBI Waiver (For volunteers who have been a PA resident for the past ten (10) consecutive years and have no offenses listed) or FBI Check
2 / Submit Clearances
Submit initial volunteer application and upload clearances to Raptor.
